PCSO refuses to intervene in 'fight' just 26 seconds away

A police community support officer (PCSO) was caught on camera appearing to refuse to respond to an alleged assault taking place less than 30 seconds away from him. The uniformed officer was inside a marked police car when he was approached about 200 yards from a Co-op store in Lancing, West Sussex, where it was claimed a member of the public had been attacked by would be shoplifters. But the PCSO told an eyewitness he was unable to attend the scene as he was not part of the response team.
