‘War of words’ over whether Fadden by-election was a win for the LNP

Sky News Political Editor Andrew Clennell says there was a “war of words” over whether the Fadden by-election was a win for the Liberal-National Party. “It was a solid win last night for Peter Dutton and the Liberal Party, recording a swing of more than two per cent against the government in the by-election for Fadden,” Mr Clennell said. "Despite scandal around the departing member Stuart Robert, new Liberal MP Cameron Caldwell got a swing to him as cost of living issues bit the government. "But yesterday and last night there was a war of words as to whether this was a win for the LNP or not."
