Australia is set to record the biggest two-year population rise in history. An extra 650,000 people will call Australia home in the next 18 months, spurred by an uptick in international students, foreign workers and tourists. New South Wales and Victoria will account for two-thirds of the increase as the government tweaks economic forecasts ahead of the budget to reflect the boom.
