Staff left with a ‘sour taste in the mouth’ after King Charles’ clear out

Daily Mirror’s Royal Editor Russell Myers says it seems there has been a bit of a clear-out of staffing at Buckingham Palace. “I think it was a bit of the manner of how it was done – some redundancies just being sent out days after the late Queen passed away, and that left a bit of a sour taste in the mouth of some of the staff,” he told Sky News host Caroline Di Russo. “Certainly, a much more slimmed down monarchy and a slimmed down version of the staffing to go with it.”
