U.S. House postpones debate on a FY2024 defense spending bill, as enough conservative Republican Members were threatening to vote 'no' on a procedural motion to bring up the bill over continued disagreements over what will go into the temporary government funding bill which will need to be signed into law by October 1st to prevent a government shutdown. (5) White House says House Republicans had no cause to launch an impeachment inquiry of President Biden because there is no evidence the president did anything wrong when comes to his son Hunter's foreign business dealings.
