'Sharp rise' in number of Gazans fleeing south waving white flags as fighting escalates

Gazans have been seen waving white flags as they flee south amidst escalating violence. Israel shared this video of refugees on Salah al-Din road and said it had opened a safe corridor for four hours. A social media post in Arabic urged residents to move south beyond Wadi Gaza for their safety. Damage caused to roads has forced many to make the journey on foot.
