Harry, Meghan’s bad press has been a ‘gift’ to ‘deified’ William, Kate: Graham Norton

Graham Norton has weighed in on the British public’s consensus relating to the royals. Appearing on “Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen” Thursday night, the Irish comedian and talk show host was quizzed on how Brits feel about Meghan Markle and Prince Harry. “Since you can speak for all Brits,” Cohen began to ask Norton. “What would you say is the overriding feeling about Harry and Meghan over there at this point?” “It’s difficult,” Norton, 60, responded. “I think in the press it’s very anti them, and it’s been a gift to [Prince] William and [Princess] Kate because now they are deified. They can do no wrong.” “I mean, Kate can do and hit and run and it would be fine because she’s such a lovely person,” he said sarcastically. “But do regular people care that much? I don’t think they do.
