Trans activists promoting a ‘spectre of suicide’ blamed for rise in life altering surgery for teens

Gender Clinic News’ Bernard Lane blames a “spectre of suicide” promoted widely by activists and gender clinics for the rise in teenagers lining up for mastectomies. Mr Lane’s comments come as leading surgeons call for an age limited to be imposed on the procedure. “Parent’s other wise would be much more hesitant about going along with a double mastectomy,” Mr Lane told Sky News host Amanda Stoker. “There isn’t good evidence of enduring mental health benefits following this surgery.”
