Tata Motors, the owner of Jaguar Land Rover, has announced that it is to build a gigafcatory to make batteries for its cars in the UK. The Gravity 'smart centre' in Somerset is thought to be the site, where the essential battery production site will be based. 9,000 new jobs could be created as a result.
