Passing of gender pay gap bill helps women with 'fair and safe' working conditions

Infrastructure Minister Catherine King says Australian women deserve fair and safe working conditions as she thanks “all members” for helping pass the gender pay gap bill of 2023. “Australian women deserve fair and safe working conditions, they deserve equal opportunity and equal renumeration for their efforts,” Ms King said during Question Time on Thursday. “This house has passed the workplace gender equality amendment closing the gender pay gap bill 2023 and I thank all members for their support for that.”
