Russia Capture Denys Prokopenko Commander of the Azov Battalion at Azovstal Steel Plant

The Commander of the Azov Battalion Denys Prokopenko was amongst the most prominent of figures arrested by Russia at the Azovstal Steel Plant. The heavily fortified Steel Plant in Mariupol had been the last stronghold of the fabled Azov Battalion, with many of its members taking refuge there as the Donetsk People’s Republic forces as well as the Luhansk Militia (alongside Russian forces) took the Southern city of Mariupol.
