As reported by the Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL), the crucial XQ-58A test was conducted at Eglin Air Force Base in Florida on July 25. The three-hour flight took place within the Eglin Test and Training Complex, a collection of offshore training ranges in the Gulf of Mexico. The test utilized algorithms developed by AFRL's Autonomous Air Combat Operations (AACO) program team.
