Sky News host Peta Credlin says fellow colleague Alan Jones will continue to be "one of my best mates” after he departs from Sky News Australia. “It would be remiss of me now, not to pay tribute to the great stalwart of this program, my regular Monday night guest and dear friend, Alan Jones,” Ms Credlin said. “To me, Alan's so much more than a colleague; he's been a friend and a mentor for many years, and he’s joined me in countless political battles when others might have cut and run. “I hope his voice continues to be heard by the millions of Australians who have looked to him for insights and direction. “On or off air, he'll continue to be one of my best mates. Over time, some things will change, others never will.”
