Opposition Leader Peter Dutton says it is “regrettable” Prime Minister Anthony Albanese does not have the “strength of character” to stand up for Australia and its international reputation. Mr Dutton joined Sky News to criticise Mr Albanese for his handling of protests in Sydney where anti-Semitic chants were heard and the Israeli flag was burned and stomped upon. “The horrible, horrible rhetoric that we heard in the aftermath of the terrorist attacks, the slaughter of innocent people, young partygoers, women raped, 150 still in captivity being held as hostages,” Mr Dutton told Sky News host Erin Molan. “The Prime Minister said he didn’t see any instances of anti-Semitism – people were yelling ‘gas the Jews’. “Those people should have their visas cancelled and they should be deported.”
