It follows the highway system across the commonwealth starting in the capital Harrisburg and then heading in all directions. This includes links to Philadelphia, lake Eerie, Hazleton, and Pittsburgh. Along the way, there are short interviews with people that see benefits from the interstate system. It also shows several natural and historic sites that are now more accessible to travelers such as historical sites in Gettysburg or the Liberty Bell.
