Hamas "Destroys" Merkava Tank, Hezbollah Warning, "Israel May Have Broken International Law"

The Qassam Brigades said its fighters destroyed an Israeli Merkava tank with an Al-Yassin 105 shell, south of the city of Khan Younis. The Qassam Brigades also said its fighters killed four Israeli soldiers with a locally manufactured rifle called “Ghoul”. The Israel Defence Forces (IDF) said its troops raided Hamas infrastructure, including underground sites in Gaza. At least 25 Palestinians have been detained in the occupied West Bank, the Palestinian Prisoners Society said. Lebanon’s caretaker Prime Minister Najib Mikati has told a senior UN official that his country is ready for discussions on long-term stability. Israel’s Defence Minister Yoav Gallant briefed Blinken on the war developments and noted Israel’s “changes in combat tactics” in north Gaza.
