Israel has exported a record $12.556 billion in defence products in 2022, up from $11.4 billion in 2021, the previous record high. Drones accounted for a quarter of the exports, while missiles, rockets, and air defence systems accounted for 19%, as per the Israeli Defence Ministry. Officials point to “geostrategic changes” in Europe as a new driver in demand for Israeli-made weapons. Between 2011 and 2016, that number hovered between $5.6 billion and $7.5 billion, as per Israeli media reports. Last year, Israel was ranked the 10th largest international arms exporter between 2017 and 2021 by independent think-tank SIPRI. #israel #abrahamaccords #middleeast #russiaukrainewar #russia #netanyahu n18oc_world n18oc_crux 0:00 INTRODUCTION 1:55 ARAB BUYERS FLOCK TO ISRAEL 2:44 WHO ELSE IS BUYING ISRAELI DEFENCE EQUIPMENT? 3:05 WHAT’S ISRAEL’S DEFENCE BEST-SELLER?
