An ancient Inca ritual of making offerings to the sun was re-enacted on Monday in Lima in a traditional play that brought actors and Indigenous communities together.
The Inti Raymi was performed during the southern hemisphere's winter solstice.
Similar ceremonies also took place in other Andean countries where the Inca civilization flourished.
