Usually, one might think that you can log out from your Messenger app. However, this is not the case. In the video, you'll be able to see how to correctly sign out of the Facebook Messenger app.
How To Log Out Of Facebook Messenger (Facebook App)
Launch the Facebook app
Tap on 'Menu' at the bottom right corner
Scroll down and tap on 'Settings & Privacy', then tap on 'Security'
Scroll down and select 'Security and login'
You'll be able to see the devices that you're logged in to.
Choose the Messenger app, then tap on the three dots beside it.
On the menu that appears, tap on 'Log Out'.
NB: You can also log out of Facebook messenger using Facebook mobile interface on the mobile browser of your phone.
Simply launch your favorite mobile browser
Go to facebook.com and sign in to your account.
Then follow the same steps above to get it done.
How To Log Out Facebook Messenger on Another Device:
If you want to sign out of Facebook messenger on a different device, you can easily find a device near you and log into your Facebook account.
Then navigate to the Security and Log in settings and you can remotely log out of Facebook messenger on any device.
