NAB bank predicts significant job losses in the next 18 months

NAB Bank is warning more than 200,000 Australians could lose their jobs over the next 18 months as the pressure of 13 interest rate rises impacts a suffering economy. NAB chief economist Alan Oster says the economy is preparing for its worst economic pressures since the 1990-91 recession. RBA Governor Philip Lowe warns Australia is heading down a narrow path and hopes to bring down inflation from 7 per cent without affecting unemployment.
