'History-making appointment': Chalmers lauds 'outstanding economist' Michele Bullock

Treasurer Jim Chalmers says the “history-making appointment” of Michele Bullock as the new RBA Governor has come after “months of deliberation and consideration”. Ms Bullock will become the first woman to govern the Reserve Bank of Australia with Mr Chalmers describing her as an “outstanding economist accomplished and respected leader”.
