Ukraine has said that Russia has amassed “professional strike forces” in the eastern region to continue its offensive. Russia said that its forces have nabbed a saboteur group that was ordered to blow up a railway track in the Zaporizhzhia region. Russian forces have said that they have blocked the routes used by Ukraine to reach its positions in Bakhmut on April 13. Wagner Group claims that its forces have killed 32,000 Ukrainian troops in Bakhmut alone since Feb. 2022. United Nations nuclear watchdog IAEA has said that the Zaporizhzhia plant is “living on borrowed time”. The European Union has added Wagner group and Russian news agency RIA FAN to a list of organisations it is sanctioning. Polish PM Mateusz Morawiecki has said that Russia has no intentions to stop its war in Ukraine.
