Gas bills set to rise for Australians despite government deal with producers

Australians are set to continue to pay more for gas, despite the federal government striking a deal with gas producers. The deal ensures there’s enough domestic supply of gas before it’s exported. However, despite the deal, Resources Minister Madeleine King said it’s unlikely Australia will see gas prices at what they were before Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.
