Cape Town spends millions on security

Cape Town is arguably the jewel in the crown of South Africa's tourist destinations but every so often, the city makes unwanted headllines because of attacks on visitors and locals, at some of its popular tourist attractions. In just two months, 18 incidents of muggings were recorded on Lion’s Head and Signal Hill but ahead of this year's festive season, authorities are rolling out a comprehensive safety plan, to ensure the expected record-breaking number of visitors, enjoy what the city has to offer, without any worries and as eNCA’s Nobesuthu Hejana reports, it won't come cheap.
