Spanish and Dutch military planes evacuate civilians from Sudan

Spanish and Dutch military planes evacuated civilians from Sudan as continued fighting raises fears. The Spanish military has organised a rescue flight out of war-stricken Sudan for around 100 foreign nationals, including Italians, Portuguese and Irish citizens. The Dutch defence ministry did not immediately give details of how many people were on board or a breakdown of their nationalities.
