Friends and colleagues for half a century, Betsy Gotbaum and Ronnie Eldridge agree they’ve “lived very full lives.” Ms. Gotbaum’s career began during Lindsay’s administration, work with the New York Historical Society, she served as Park Commissioner, was elected Public Advocate, and presently - with the not for profit Citizens Union. Feeling “pushed away” both actively involved women urge younger actively involved people to include the older generation. After all, we’re all going to get older!
