Saudi Arabia has signed two drone-acquisition contracts with Turkish arms manufacturer Baykar. The Saudis inked a deal to import the company's medium-altitude long-endurance Akinci drone, and a cooperation agreement. Haluk Bayraktar, Baykar’s CEO, called it the biggest defence and aviation export contract in “the history of the Turkish Republic". he agreement took place as Turkish President Erdogan and Saudi Crown Prince MBS discussed "prospects for joint cooperation" in their meeting.
