Queensland residents 'sick and tired' over escalating youth crime crisis

One Nation Leader Pauline Hanson says Queensland residents are “furious” with the youth crime in the state and details three key issues as to what is making the situation worse. “They’re furious … sick and tired of the crime that’s happening,” Ms Hanson told Sky News Contributor Steve Price. “I put it down to three main issues, politicians and the policies they’ve brought out over the years, where they’ve actually taught the kids their rights but not responsibilities that go with it, the teachers have lost control in their classrooms. “Judges are not handing down the sentences that befits the crime and to public expectation, the third one is parents, dysfunctional parents out there, they shouldn’t be parents at all, they’re absolutely hopeless and have no control over their children whatsoever and just have given up on them.”
