You can't promise to implement security on a policy application (MCR 6/23/23)

“If we say, hey, we'll get EDR Solutions put in place in 30 days, we'll just put it on a promise, and I would say almost exclusively, no carriers are going to give you a policy based on a promise of security, which is great for you as an MSP, because you get to road map this control now, it's not ‘oh I wanna wait’, it's like ‘no do it you get to do it now’…” --- Will Brooks of FifthWall Solution confirms that cyberinsurance policy questions need to be answered as of the day of application submission, and that promises to do this or that are not permitted.
