Flight delays and cancellations stack up ahead of holiday weekend travel

Those traveling via flights over the next week can expect to potentially be hit with either a delay or a cancellation, as both have increased going into the holiday weekend. As of Wednesday afternoon, a total of 3,097 domestic flights in the United States have been delayed, while 827 domestic flights have been canceled.
