'They're innocent': Israeli man breaks down over kidnapped family

Israeli man Yaniv Yakov broke down when discussing the kidnapping of his brother and his family by Hamas forces last week. Hamas used grenades to break into the family’s home in Kibbutz Nir Oz and take Yaniv’s brother, along with his girlfriend and two sons. “We got a Whatsapp audio coming from his girlfriend saying the terrorists are in the house, they are shooting in the house and that my brother is trying to hold the door,” he told Sky News Australia. “After that message, we lost contact with them and until now we don’t know if they are okay or not. “The day after we got a propaganda video, sent by Hamas, on how they broke in and how they took my brother and his girlfriend.” Mr Yakov added that the attack by Hamas was “brutal” as they took children out of their homes. “They are not supposed to be played as cards for any reason, they are innocent.”
