Britney Spears 'back handed' by NBA rookie's security after wanting a photo

Pop star Britney Spears filed a police report after she was allegedly "back handed" in the face by NBA rookie Victor Wembanyama's security guard at a restaurant in Las Vegas on Wednesday night. Spears reportedly approached the rising NBA star to take a photo with him as she was a fan. Wembanyama's security guard, Damian Smith, responded to Spears tapping the French San Antonio Spurs player on the shoulder. During the interaction, Spears allegedly fell to the ground and her glasses were knocked off her face, allegedly due to Smith pushing her hand away, according to TMZ. The incident reportedly took place at the exclusive Catch restaurant inside the ARIA Hotel in Las Vegas. The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police, in a statement to the Los Angeles Times, said they responded to a "battery investigation" at the address. The statement went on to say that "no arrest or citations have been issued" and that "no further details will be provided at this time".
