Relatives of Israeli hostages being held captive by Hamas arrived in Jerusalem on Saturday after a five-day march that started in Tel Aviv. People camped out in tents along the way and crowds of people joined them as they reached Jerusalem. Sharone Lifschitz, whose mother was released but her father is still believed to be held by Hamas, called on the Israeli government and the international community to 'totally concentrate' on the release of the captives. An estimated 1,200 people were killed and more than 240 hostages were taken when Hamas militants stormed southern Israeli towns and kibbutzim on 7 October.
