Bible Prophecy #13--Floating Prophecies and Israel's Future

This latest episode of my series on "Interpretations of Bible Prophecies Through the Ages," is a cautionary flashing light on methods of reading ancient texts in our modern times. I begin to survey some of the highly influential "floating prophecies" of the Hebrew Prophecy that are not anchored in specific historical events of the past, or reach ahead from such dated events (e.g. 8th century BCE Assyrian invasion; 6th century Babylonian invasion; Alexander and his successors, the Roman occupation, et al.) from the past that seem to stretch their visions to the "end of the age."
