AUKUS subs deal was ‘worth it’: Ralph Babet on the government’s decision on nuclear submarines

The Labor government’s AUKUS nuclear submarine deal was “worth it”, says United Australia Party’s Senator Ralph Babet. “We have a China right now that’s being very belligerent and threatening the world order – that’s what theyre doing right now,” he told Sky News host Cory Bernardi. “We’re protected by subs that are from the 1980s.”
