I should have listened this one entirely through first. 0:01 The "1812" unfortunately has a very rough overridden sound in the conclusion (it's also on the period LPs, and even worse there). 14:59 In Capriccio the brass is not in order. I fixed the trombone several times when it "hunts" the note. Some in the orchestra are off the beat many times. In addition, the normal Kingsway metro rumble was compounded by a fly-by of a large twin piston engine plane at takeoff power, intertwined with the cello of course. 29:03 Marche slave is I think ok. 38:58 The bonus track is a good "Scene" from "Swanlake". The orchestra is the London. P.O. with the same Kenneth Alwyn, the year is 1959.
