We now depend on electricity more than ever and it has become such an integral part of our day-to-day lives whether we like it or not. Which makes you wonder what would happen if the power went out all over the world for a long period of time. Electromagnetic pulses, also known as EMPs, have the ability to kill any electronic device in the near vicinity of where the event occurred. If a strong enough EMP weapon went off, it could potentially kill most of the electronic devices on earth.
