Record 16 Chinese Warships Circle Taiwan

In a recent development, a record 16 Chinese warships were seen near Taiwan within a 24-hour timeframe. Analysts have labelled this occurrence as an intimidation strategy employed by China's ruling Communist Party. Furthermore, the People's Liberation Army Navy (PLAN) flew warplanes past the median line of the Taiwan Strait, while also breaching Taiwan's air defence identification zone. Over a span of 72 hours, a total of 73 PLA aircraft crossed the median line. Additionally, for three consecutive days, nine PLA vessels were observed in the waters surrounding Taiwan.
