In one of the craziest things we've ever seen, celebrity pastor Mark Driscoll was KICKED OFF the stage at #jamesriverchurch Stronger Men's Conference. Mark confronted a stadium full of men who had witnessed what he called "The Spirit of Jezebel" during the event's Friday night entertainment.
The pastor of James River Church shouted "You're done!" as Mark received his command and left the stage. This and the events that followed has stirred massive controversy over what actually happened and who was right in this interaction.
My review of this situation is an attempt to provide a grounded Biblical perspective of what occurred, and some of my conclusions may surprise you.
Watch as we consider the cost in not following Jesus.

,1,In 2023, James River Church, a once doctrinally sound and respectable church invited Bill Johnson and Randy Clark in to infiltrate their false teaching into the church. This year started no different with the invitation of Todd White, protege of Kenneth Copeland. Todd has been caught faking miracles, claims to be sinless (claiming the heresy of sinless perfection), and preached that "God wants to be your climax" in reference to someone viewing well... stuff we can't say without taking an algorithm hit.
In this video, Pastor Josh Troester reviews some of Todd's most notable teachings and this covers his sermon at James River Church on Wednesday January 3rd, 2024. He also addresses the conflict between the Assemblies of God's position on modern day apostles and prophets with what Todd preached regarding the Five-Fold Ministry doctrine supported and preached by the New Apostolic Reformation.

,1,In this video John Lindell pastor of James River Church instructs his congregation regarding the practice of personal prophecy. He insists that all prophecy should be nice and not mean. That individuals should modify what God tells them to say so as not to call out sin, because we live in the covenant of grace of the New Testament. He then lays out that God doesn't move until we speak forth prophetic statements.
All of this of which is profoundly unbiblical, an abuse of a beautiful grace of God that He gives the church, and classic manipulation of the audience to buy into the false teachings of Bill Johnson, the NAR movement, and now John Lindell.

,1,David Lindell, son of pastor John Lindell said one of the most horrific and ridiculous things I've ever heard from a pulpit of a Christian church. People in this movement need to have their eyes awakened to this tragedy and trust in Christ alone.
,1,This video reviews a recent sermon by John Lindell where he abuses Scripture to warn all of his critics that they may become cursed when challenging His unbiblical teachings, because challenging anointed leaders is "skating on thin ice."
,1,"If the God that you serve and you worship, looks like you and acts like you, and believes in the same things you believe... you're not serving Yahweh, you have made yourself God."
The world's egotistical approach to wisdom is relative truth. What I believe becomes my own reality. This is a fundamental failure to submit to the God that creates Absolute Truth.
At best this is misguided, but at worst it's blasphemy. This can manifest in the Church with pastors who will avoid certain topics because of potential offense, or treat texts of the Bible with indifference, setting the tone of picking and choosing what you want to adhere to.
This is all a dangerous and slippery slope.
,1,This video is a review of the doctrine preached by John Lindell at James River Church regarding an advocation for partial or progressive healings. John often uses a text from Mark 8 out of context to advocate for his position. But we will see from the video that not only does the Bible disagree with John's take, John Lindell from 2001 AND 2016 would disagree with his take today.

,1,How do we navigate a topic that the Bible seems to be pretty quiet on? Or is it quiet? A number of factors regarding this movement has put people in a difficult situation between making decisions to show love, but not compromise the Truth.
We look at the origins of transgenderism and it's history and address some practical guides in navigating this in society.
,1,In this edition of Unpopular, we are looking at speaking in tongues as well as reported manifestations of the Holy Spirit. We will investigate each manifestation and see what the Scriptures have to say about each one.
We also spend time discussing how to discern between the authentic and the counterfeit when it comes to these topics.
,1,The most important video I've made.
This video is a review of a sermon preached by Pastor John Lindell in April of 2001 at James River Church in regards to healing. We take the very solid and Biblical teachings of John from that sermon and contrast it with what he teaches today regarding healing in 2023. As you watch, you will note many diametrically opposed differences in his doctrine and theology.

What does the Bible have to say about these spiritual gifts? How should they be and not be in operation in the Church? How can you tell the difference between the holy and the demonic?

,1,Doctrines of Devils is a series that trains people on how to spot and identify false teaching when they hear it.
This episode focuses on where all lies began... the garden. We see the progressive steps of deception taking place between the serpent and humanity at the very first sin, and the pattern hasn't stopped since. Learning the pattern, helps us discover the same lies today.
,1,Unpopular is a series looking at culturally sensitive topics and investigating what the Bible says about it.
This topic: Homosexuality.
What does the Bible say about homosexuality? How are we to deal with this reality in the world and the Church? How do we distinguish between homosexuality as a behavior vs a person's identity?

,1,"Decreeing and Declaring Their Way into Your Wallet"
This video looks at an often used erroneous teaching of Bill Johnson that all of God's resources and power are accessible to any believer if they simply declare or decree it... or to put it another way use their words to claim it. This idea produces a lust for health, wealth, and prosperity in Christians who are taught from the Scriptures to be content in all things. This message keeps Bill's and James River's audience returning where they are happy to fund and fuel the machine to lies to people and makes them believe they have the same things God has.

,1,"John Lindell Says a New Age Book is Christian"
This videos takes a look at John Lindell's response to critics for his invitation of Bill Johnson and Randy Clark at the Week of Power. John informs his congregants to just trust him as he knows Bill and Randy personally. In his address he uses many logical fallacies to argue his point, then makes a stunning statement that "The Physics of Heaven" is an open handed issue as it pertains to orthodox Christianity.

,1,"The Passion Translation is Trash"
This videos takes a look at Bill Johnson's favorite Bible "translation" of which he quotes from a lot during the Week of Power. Bill loves the Passion Translation, which isn't a real Bible translation. The Passion was written by one man after receiving a reported visitation from Jesus. It is chalk full of extra Biblical content with obvious and defined bends to validate the teachings of the New Apostolic Reformation.

This videos takes a look at Bill Johnson's teaching at the Week of Power that claims that Jesus was only able to speak to the storm and stop it because he was at peace during the storm. Bill says that, "Jesus can only give what He has." This incredibly false view of Jesus makes him look weak, so that Bill can make his listeners feel that they are divine... having the ability to stop a storm if they have peace internally. We look at how Jesus can stop the storm, because he made the storm... he made the very nature that creates storms.. it all belongs to Him.

,1,It's not often that our journey takes us down the exact paths we expected. There are times when the journey looks nothing like what we imagined. Sometimes, this is the most beautiful scenario.
Pastor Josh Troester and other leaders tell the story of how the church got started. Why the story? Because sometimes our past helps inform our future. Almost always it speaks to how far we had to come.
To know about the church that had to die, you must first experience how it started.
,1,"James River Church Has Redefined Repentance"
This video takes a look at a claim that Randy Clark made at the Week of Power that the definition and understanding of repentance that has been accepted and understood by the church for thousands of years actually has another meaning. His claimed definition represents that when we have ignorance of what God can do, we should "repent" or change our mind, and realize what He can, and thus wants to do. This allows us to bring Heaven to Earth now. It's a flawed definition that hijacks a central word and understanding of the Gospel to support a heretical teaching called Kingdom Now.

,1,In this video I take a look at a fast growing practice started by Randy Clark and systematized by Bethel Church called SOZO.
SOZO is a "ministry" that utilizes common new age practices of occultism as a method of inner-healing for a Christian. The problem is you can't mix new age and Christianity, they are diametrically opposed.
Is this practice in your church? If it's not, is it coming to a church near you? You may be surprised at how close it really is.

,1,This video reviews teachings from The Week of Power event held at James River Church on the week of Sunday March 12th. Guest speakers were Bill Johnson and Randy Clark.
This event has created a lot of controversy in the ozarks for many reasons. Out of several people reaching out to me searching for Truth, I have decided to make a video series covering this event and analyzing what happened and what was taught, and aligning it with what the Bible says.
I have reviewed nearly 30 hours of footage, and this is the sixth video in the installment: "Randy is Blowing People Over."
In this video we look at the claims of Randy Clark and the NAR movement as it pertains to what they call manifestations of the Holy Spirit. Such actions as falling out, laughing, shaking uncontrollably are claimed to be a part of a normal interaction with God when Randy lays his hands on you. We look at this topic of manifestations and evaluate what the Bible has to say about this.

In this video we look at the encouragement and advocation of Bill Johnson's teachings at the Week of Power for individuals to "experiment" with the miraculous gifts such as prophecy and words of knowledge. He claims that students at his school are now allowed to return unless they've prophesied incorrectly at least three times, thus creating a school of false prophets and celebrating that.

I have reviewed nearly 30 hours of footage, and this is the fourth video in the installment: "A Major Contradiction."
In this video we look at a contradictory statement made on separate nights in regards to who is responsible for finishing miracles. Is it God, is it your faith, or can the devil come in and steal your miracle?
