The ensuing conflict led to many school board members resigning rather than continue to deal with the repercussions. Critical race theory is a legal framework that examines the role of race and racism in the US. It has been the subject of much controversy in recent years, with some people accusing it of being divisive and promoting a victim mentality. The Elizabeth school board controversy began when a group of parents accused the board of teaching critical race theory in the district's schools. The board denied the accusations, but the controversy continued to simmer. In March, the board voted to ban critical race theory from the district's schools. However, the controversy continued, with some parents and community members calling for the resignation of the board members who voted for the ban. In April, the board voted to censure two of its members, who were seen as being aligned with the parents who were opposed to critical race theory. The censure vote led to the resignation of two other board members. The controversy has left the Elizabeth school board in disarray. Trump in his post said that the judge "hates me" and has treated the Trump Organization "viciously" in the past. Trusty responded by saying: “The president is a big believer in free speech." The video of Trump's post and Trusty's response has gone viral, with many people criticizing Trump for his attacks on the judge. Some people have also pointed out that Trump's attacks on the judge could prejudice the case against him. Later, former Attorney General Bill Barr tells Bream that he would not advise former President Donald Trump to testify in the criminal case against him in Manhattan. Barr said that Trump "completely lacks self-control" and that testifying would be a "disaster." Bream asked Barr about the possibility of Trump testifying in the case, which is being brought by the Manhattan District Attorney's Office. Barr said that he would "strongly advise" Trump not to testify. "He completely lacks self-control," Barr said. "He would say things that would be very damaging to him." There are a couple of little points that I like to debate that kind of I guess call back to that guy. Where it's you know he was saying stuff about social security and it's not going to be around. Blah blah blah blah. You know the system wasn't designed you know for what we have now I linked to debate with my friends and whatnot and apply that same kind of logic to voting. And here's the elevator. I kind of like to debate that people should take an empathy cognitive and awareness test before they get to go and vote. Because it's too critical now to the types of decisions that we're arguing with in our elections. And I don't think that's what the people intended when they came up with our original style of voting. Everything was so much simpler, right? How would you approach that argument? and what do you think about that argument? that people we should be a little bit more incentivized or at least have the care within ourselves to become aware before we go out and try to make decisions and cast our ballot. Let me just clear your argument. Your argument is that these people who owned other human beings when they came up with the idea of voting did not anticipate how unempathetic we would be today. I appreciate it. I appreciate it. I mean honestly, that's it. I mean like first of all you can't, you can't encumber voting in that way. Obviously, you can't. But the idea that we have uniquely unempathetic people now I think it's not is not the case. I think we have people who I think we've always had unempathetic people. In fact, I think there's an argument that we had fewer empathetic people back then than we do today. It's just that the problems that we have are, you know, it's a big country. and I think certain segments of the population exist under certain ideologies. that you know may never be reachable. but other segments of the population are reachable if we do a better job. that if you know if we're able to convince politicians to step up to the needs of people you know as it is. but I don't think curbing voting is the right way to go. on any terms. but I also just don't accept the premise.

She knows full well why this indictment is sealed and why it hasn't been revealed. well exactly as we know from the Dominion texts. The worst part of Fox's coverage is that they're not true believers. and I have more respect for them if they were True Believers. it's that they cynically manipulate their viewers. lie to them. make fools of them. and I keep saying this 100 times before I'll say it 100 times again no one has more contempt for conservative voters in this country than conservative politicians and pundits right? They treat them like fools. They lie to them. and now we know they laugh at them behind the scenes in texts. but that she knows why it's a sealed indictment until whatever it is Monday or Tuesday and yeah Matt Gaetz is lying when he says Alvin Bragg got million dollars I'm sorry 100% untrue. That is just a complete lie. and we should just say Bragg wanted Trump in I to guess last night to turn himself in and they negotiated Tuesday. but it would be incredibly unfair to Trump to release that indictment. I mean it's just not the way you do it. It is impressive in that respect.

It is and we've had a couple of interviews on this. I'm curious as to your thoughts. Because it really is just fascinating to see what's been going on there fascinating both in terms of like it's unprecedented the amount of like sort of protest that's going on within the context of that country. It's also fascinating in this sort of like this inability for the body politic that is protesting against the anti-democratic moves of Bibi Netanyahu to see the massive anti-democratic sort of elephant that has been sitting, you know, that is almost the room essentially for decades now. Yes, and Michael swad the Israeli human rights lawyer who came on my Sunday show last week made that point. That we are protesting just a few miles away from people we are controlling and don't have any democracy. And the point I made on MSNBC on Monday night when I was sitting in for Chris Hayes was you know if you want to have real democracy in Israel you need to have freedom for the Palestinians. You can't have a real democracy that controls the lives of several million people who don't have a right to vote. Who doesn't have a right to choose their government? Who does live under a dictatorship? A prominent Israeli journalist texted me last week saying I hope you're covering the story. It's crazy what's happening here. We're turning into a dictatorship. I said yes I'm glad you're all protesting but of course, for Palestinians, it's always been a dictatorship. Right. And he said yes after a pause. So I hope more people are realizing it's probably not enough. What I would say is look, we can't control Israel. I know that yeah Netanyahu's son believes that the American government is behind all the protests. I love their conspiracy theories. But we can't control what's happening in Israel fully. What we can control is what's happening in our country. And one thing I would say is for a long time people have tried you know I wrote a book called win every argument. You know how you frame the best argument. How do you come up with the best narrative? And I do believe that we've tried so many arguments. Those of us who believe in Palestinian rights are critics of Israel's occupation, you know, international law. Human rights reports. trying to humanize Palestinians. We've tried every single method people have and it hasn't really worked. Not in Congress for sure. But what I would say is now is the time to lean into the supporters of Israel's argument. Because for years we were told by the support it is or the reason we're back in Israel is not because of the military-industrial complex. Not because we're fighting Iran. It's not because of AIPAC it's not because of any of those conspiracies. Because of shared values.

I recently got into a conversation with my family because I went to Florida and we started talking about stuff. and sorry I'm a little nervous. you're all good. but I was talking to them and they were talking to me about the don't say the gay bill in the recent expansion and stuff. because for me it's kind of a personal issue. but for them, it's not as much. so they're not really thinking about that kind of stuff. but there is a lot of you know ambiguity in the bill itself. but I do think that maybe people should probably start listing the names of these bills and stuff. like where they're from the house or the Senate. what number the bill is and what standards it refers to in their reporting. because I'm looking at the bill now and it really feels like a lot of times when these things get reported on you know the text of the bill doesn't get really talked about but the text of the bill itself is actually pretty damning. you know in section three of the bill itself it says you know classroom instruction by Personnel. We've heard it a bunch. but in the end it specifically refers to accordance with State Standards. so I went ahead and looked up the state standards that it's actually referring to. and it refers specifically to section 1000.4 1003.46 which is health education instruction and acquired immune deficiency syndrome. and part two says throughout instruction and acquired immune deficiency syndrome sexually transmitted diseases or health and education when such an instruction or course material contains instruction in human sexuality a school shall teach abstinence from sexual education outside of marriage is the expected standard for all School age students while also teaching the benefits of monogamous homosexual heterosexual marriage. So you know a lot of times I think referring to these bills specifically as their numbers and stuff and making it really easy for people to look up what the bill itself says and what the stuff it's referring to says to make it really easy for people to understand just how ridiculous A lot of these laws are. yeah yeah. I mean I think that's helpful. and just like laying it out in clear terms. I also just want to re-highlight what I did in what I highlighted in headlines today, which is that it broke around an hour before the show started so I need to do more reading. but like they're coming into the court system too. this federal judge in Texas blocked the ACA mandate that health insurance companies have to cover preventative care specifically targeting prep. which is the prophylactic HIV drug for gay men mostly and others as well. but often like the reasoning in the legend in what the plaintiffs were pushing was explicitly homophobic. like there that that ruling from a federal judge is immediately law right now because he's a federal judge. and then any appeal process has to go through the fifth circuit which is incredibly right wing and then has to go to the Supreme Court. They are coming after gay non-binary trans LGBTQ people in every direction. every fast and imaginable and the group that's funding that chats that legal challenge to the ACA is headed by Stephen Miller.

All right, let's just get right down to the burning question. Matt, we'll start with you. What is the letterhack? Oh, good question. The Letterhack is a prolific letter writer and particularly with comic books. What little Fame I have is from being a huge nerd and getting a lot of letters published that I would write to comic book editors. So in the back of the book they have a letter column and I was in there weekly for years. oh, that's interesting. I yeah find it hard to believe that anybody who's making comic books is really not getting their Fame from being a huge nerd. but leaving that aside all right. Let Jane, let's start with you. The film comes out in 2019. Tell us a little bit about the film. It looks and I haven't seen the film yet but I'm inspired now by the comic book to go watch it. It looks insane. yeah, it's totally insane. Yeah oh perfect. Yeah, elaborate just a little bit more than that. It's about a politically confused The Groovy mushrooms dealer who traverses through Hollywood and kind of encounters all these goofy characters to find the meaning of the word Mondo. So it kind of has this like you know kind of inspired by like John Waters Robert Downey Senior kind of you know experimental psychedelic film. Yeah, there was like a quality of like Putney Swope in some of them that I saw in the previews, and when I see Mondo for whatever reason I always think of Michael O'Donoghue. Who was a Saturday Night Live writer, maybe you don't know him I guess. I mean this I'm dating myself. He was in the 70s. His film you can find it I think I think it's probably on YouTube but it was Mr. Mike's Mondo video. And it's nuts. But it's worth checking out. all right but all right so Matt what inspired you to make a comic book? I mean usually, it goes the other way. Yeah yeah well in this case so you guys remember over Halloween I did all of those spoofs of you guys as the Scooby-Doo gang. Yes. Well, he saw those reached out to me, and said that would be great for the adaptation of my movie. Are you in? I couldn't accept the job right away because I had to know their obligations. So I watched the trailer for it and I was immediately hooked. So I came up with some test Pages. Sent them off. The rest is history. I made the comic. I don't know how to follow up on that last call that was pretty good. but I did want to talk about the Wisconsin situation. we're in a unique, uniquely purple situation that a lot of other states don't have. considering how close even just the Mandela versus Ron Johnson election was this past one. I think it came down to 27 000 votes. and we should be clear Barnes got no support from the national Democrats. oh yeah absolutely it was very fresh I I I was shocked that there was just nothing. And he was not my favorite by any means. but he had tons of policies. He had all this stuff going for him. and you know Warren knows considering what the Democrats have been doing. it could have been helpful to pick that up but. yep. sure I guess. yeah but this election has been very interesting because they're [Applause] I think the Republicans in this state have learned from the more National Online it seems that the whole trans Panic doesn't seem to work as well as they want it to. a lot of people just really don't care you know? it doesn't one of my favorite moments was talking with some of my co-workers in my old summer job working for the city. and when they heard about transgender people they were just like okay. That doesn't affect me. Why do you guys care? so they've doubled down on a lot of the same things they always do. Which is just a crime stupid crime is through the roof. every single advertisement. and there are tech specs to it's just endless about Janet Protasiewicz it's just gonna drive up crime. and she's letting criminals off. and it's just an endless wave. but one of the things that came out there's a Milwaukee Sentinel article please use ad blockers. that came out two days ago was about a senate Republican. I can't remember his name Dan nodal. okay. I'm talking about if they take over the Senate again or preserve a republican super majority they want to immediately move to impeach Janet if she were to get elected. and I just don't get it. At what point do we just say Hey look, they don't actually care about the policy anymore. they're not here to do anything they're just here to make sure they win and then they can set whatever roles they want. oh ah, dude I would say in Wisconsin that that point was about 13 years ago I think when Scott Walker was rolling back the right to unionize in that state. and was getting rid of BadgerCare. I would say that was 13 years ago in Wisconsin. I have to say this race in Wisconsin dollar for dollar you know sort of like size for size is perhaps one of the most important races that we could see around the country you know including you know even the Senate races. because we got a one you know vote margin in the Senate. This thing is this race here in Wisconsin and in many respects, this is where this era of republicanism started.

After seven days, the Woburn Teachers Association has reached an agreement with Mayor Scott Galvin and the Woburn School Committee to end the teachers' strike. The sides reached a tentative agreement on financial packages for teachers and paraprofessionals, followed by a "return-to-work" agreement after further negotiations. Class resumed on Monday, and Woburn teachers will not face disciplinary action from the city as a result of the strike. The WTA will pay $225,000 of the $270,000 in costs incurred by the city during the strike and donate $20,000 to local charities. The new four-year contract significantly increases the pay for Woburn's education support professionals, creates a more competitive wage for teachers and slightly lowers fourth- and fifth-grade class sizes. Calling with a little bit of some good labor news in the past month or so I'm not sure if you heard the Woburn Teachers Association had a strike at the beginning of February. I don't think I did hear that. the Woburn? Yes. okay. So it lasted at about for about five days the strike was started because in 2021 that was when the last contract was signed. And they had a teacher's got a total of a one percent increase as I believe what the number was for their pay. And then going to this past school year they actually had no contract signed. So they've been working for the first half of the school year with no guarantees. And the city of Woburn is going to sit on its ass until the deadline comes or when the teachers are threatening a strike. And that time passed so for the entire week from the first to the fifth Woburn schools were just completely shut down all week. And ultimately the strike did actually succeed. The teachers were about 550 Educators plus and I don't know if the paraprofessionals are included in that? Just as there are 550 members of the Urban Teachers Association. Great. But ultimately the strike was a success. The teachers are going to get a 13.5 raise over four years. And the paraprofessionals from the same time they're actually getting a 40 raise. Which while is a kind of an astronomical number the starting salary before that for a paraprofessional and Woburn was 22 000 a year. And people should know that Woburn is really like Metro Boston at this point. I mean it has been for a long time. It's within the 95 Beltway right? yeah absolutely for the most part if I remember correctly and a little bit crosses over to the north side of that but it might as well be the whole thing. Yeah and I don't know I mean I haven't been in that area in years but I see what's happening in Worcester. So if you know housing has gone up in Worcester I imagine it's gone up in Woburn without a doubt.

That's the health education labor and pensions committee. Chaired by Bernie Sanders goes forward in interviewing Howard Schultz he is getting whinier and whinier. Later in the program, I pre-recorded an interview with Michelle Eisen yesterday, an organizing member of Starbucks Workers United. She is 12 years old. She had been working at Starbucks for 12 years. And had decided to leave before covid because she felt like the company was treating the workers poorly. And it is an interesting dynamic when you talk to someone who has pride in their work, has a relationship like an emotional attachment to a company, and then feels betrayed by the way they're being treated and just happens to be approached by someone who was trying to organize a union. And this organizer is up in Buffalo this is the original store that unionized. This organizer approached her like one of the last people the organizer approached because she thought oh well this person has been here for 12 years she has never had a single violation. You know her working record was like pristine. And so you know she was a company person. And so this organizer thought this could be a little bit risky but they were friends. And it turns out yeah no I have exactly the same feelings that you do about what's going on in this company. And that's how all of this started. So I think it was over 200 chapters, is it? Is it over 200 Starbucks or close to that that have now unionized? Howard Schultz is in front of the help committee today because we are 450 days out from when that first place in Buffalo unionized and they still don't have a contract. And Starbucks is doing all sorts of things. And you'll hear this organizer later in the program explain what they're doing to avoid negotiations.

All right, I have an argument now. this is it. I learned from you to do it in three. Did not the Manhattan District Attorney's Office say that there would be no decision this week from the grand jury? Didn't they issue that statement just a day or two ago? I don't know, I thought they said they were going on holiday. It was a debate about whether there would be around. Right they're going on holiday. But then they come out with a decision. Didn't they lie? How can we trust anything they say? That's weak stuff. even if you'll pretend. I mean I'll find it fascinating one thing I would say is I'm glad we've raised that issue Sam because it enables me to remind everyone that it was a grand jury. It was a grand jury that Donald Trump on Wednesday night was praising on Truth Social. I don't know if anybody saw it. I'm a supposed person who has great faith in the grand jury system. I mean the great irony of pinning this all on Bragg and by extension Soros and by extension the Democratic party and by extension the Deep state. Is it actually Alvin Bragg who didn't make I remember it's not the person who voted right? That's the whole system in this country whatever you think about juries and grand juries it was a bunch of people in Donald Trump's home City who voted to say you know what on the strength of the evidence we've heard including Witnesses from Trump's side we think crimes were committed. I mean we don't know how many. more than one certainly. And we will see when that sealed indictment is opened it'll be very interesting to see what they're actually going to go after them specifically on. As I say I just want to keep adding this caveat the grand jury may be wrong. Alvin Bragg may be wrong. And Donald Trump may win in court. May have his days innocent until proven guilty. Fine with me. Again, every activation is a confession. I'm not a person who believes in using the justice system as a political weapon. Fine if he gets off after a fair trial good for him. That's you know I'm not somebody who believes that the justice system should be used to shut him down. I believe he lost a free and fair election in November 2020 and that should have been the end of it. In any normal political world, he would have gone off to give speeches or write or paint paintings like George W Bush or make Netflix shows like Barack Obama. but no. He refused to accept the result. Incitement of the Armed Insurrection. Decided to run. Again I wouldn't mind if Alvin Bragg was able to do this with George Bush. I'm just saying. I'm just putting that I'm on record, in fact, I had Tom Nichols the Atlantic writer on my show this week if anyone wants to watch we had a very long debate it's on YouTube about whether George Bush should be prosecuted for war crimes in Iraq. If Vladimir Putin can be in Ukraine why not George W Bush in Iraq? Couldn't agree more with that.

And you could have paid like three thousand dollars minimum to get into that fundraiser that he threw for Ro Khanna then maybe you could have had an in-person conversation. You might have had to go up to 13 000. As you guys wrote about in the prospect now and just to be fair David sacks have no deposits according to him in SVB now, of course, he does have a lot of companies that he's invested in that have deposited there. But that doesn't mean that he would have any interest in any person. No incentive. None whatsoever. But in the 40-minute interview that I saw he basically blamed the FED for this. But because their interest rates were so low that it caused everybody to overleverage and get stuck with bonds that were not valuable and with interest rates that were so low that they were looking for other places to put money. And that it caused runaway inflation. And that's why the FED had to raise their rates so much. That was his story. Tell us what the real story is, please. Well I mean the important thing to know about the Silicon Valley Bank collapse and the subsequent actions is that everyone was at fault. and when everyone's at fault that makes it supremely easy for individual people who were at fault to point to the other person who was at fault to deflect blame. So you can go right on down the line and see failures here at pretty much every level. And I don't know I almost don't know where to begin. Because you could begin with any part of this story. Well, let's take it let's start but let this is what I think we should start at. because from my perspective there is one of the most Upstream causes of this was the rollback. I mean and you tell me if I'm wrong. In other words, deregulation. the deregulation in 2017-2018. if that doesn't happen there may be problems at SVB but if they don't they're not allowed to grow to metastasize like this. well, I mean that you know and you have groups like The Bank policy Institute which is a bunch of Bank lobbyists saying that no actually the deregulation wouldn't have changed this at all. so I mean you have con there's contestation going on at every level of this and finger-pointing going on at every level of this. But it is absolutely clear that the 2018 deregulation bill which I call the Crapo bill because it reflects both its author and its content Mike Crapo the senator from Idaho. That bill absolutely was laser targeted at the very Regional banks that are experiencing a crisis right now. I am at the stadium Banks as I called it that aren't big enough to be a global systemic financial institution however they are big enough to get naming rights to a stadium. That those are the banks that are in this wheelhouse right now.

The governor of Georgia has just declared a state of emergency to bring in a thousand National Guardsmen presumably to do what ultimately they're going to be training a bunch of police to do which is to control people in the community and prevent them from having any type of say in this. And this is also coming in the wake of the police killing of someone who went by the name of Tortuguita. can you give us well before we get there to tell us what the community's been doing? I know that the Beloved of Community Ministries has been involved in this. that the community movement Builders have been involved in this. that they have there's been a coalition to form stop cop City and you know in conjunction with defend Atlanta Force. tell us about the resistance that has grown up over the past almost two years now to this plan. well yes, one thing that I always like to distinguish about for instance stop cop City or defend the Atlanta Forest it's often thought of as an organization in the media. and I think that's very important for us to disambiguate. because it's more so a political stance or a movement right? so it would be akin to saying that somebody is a member of pro-choice right? right it's more so like why it's like we're all a part of this effort to stop cop City and defend the Atlantic Forest. and that's important because how the police and federal agents and also the Gbi have been moving has been threatening anybody that's associated with the movement as a part of a domestic terrorist Network. right? so it's very important to note that this is not an organization. because they're trying to essentially create connections that aren't there. This is a decentralized and autonomous movement. oh, I'm sorry to go ahead. well no to be clear, I just want people to understand that that is not a theoretical situation. There have been 18 people who have been now charged with being domestic terrorists for supposedly belonging to a so-called domestic terrorist group. when in fact what we're talking about is really just people who are on a side of an issue that exists. yeah, you can't make this stuff up. good old Georgia. Let's start with there we're just I guess a day or two away from or we just saw a sizable reorganization at the FDA. What can you tell us about that? I'm curious as to how long has that need been building? What was the reorganization about? yeah, a lot of people I think a lot of consumers and eaters have not really been fully aware of the problems facing the FDA when it comes to their regulation and oversight of food. but really over the past year, we've seen a lot of scrutiny over the FDA's handling of food safety of nutrition. The infant formula shortage crisis. You know, reports of illnesses and deaths among infants really brought this into the national media. and so the FDA has been under a lot of pressure to have better leadership to have a better structure in place. We didn't know who was in charge of food. That there was a decentralized leadership structure there which created Power struggles and slowness and decision-making. and so the reorganization FDA announced yesterday is really aiming to try to put someone clearly in charge of food at the agency. and try to centralize some of the decision-making. It's gotten mixed reviews. a lot of people don't think it went quite far enough. But it is a big change. Two questions one being when you say in charge of food like what else are they in charge of? or I guess I mean drugs I imagine it would be the other. But how long is this D where did this how long has this problem been going on? In terms of like was there a structural change you know before this one that decentralized things like. What is the predicate to the need for this? Yeah, all great questions. I think the FDA has been dysfunctional on the food side for a long time for decades but we did see the leadership structure change during the Trump Administration. they eliminated a Deputy Commissioner position that helped sort of centralize decision-making at FDA. so it's been a few years that we have not had a Deputy Commissioner however I think the problems are a lot deeper than just the organizational chart. There are cultural problems at the FDA. There's a fear of taking on the food industry. There's a lot of bureaucracy to contend with and so we see you know really key safety and health issues. It takes years sometimes decades, to get out of that agency. And I think there's a broad recognition now that that slowness on things like food safety reduces sodium in the food supply setting. heavy metal limits for baby food. These are issues that consumers expect FDA to be handling.

I know I don't really care too much about that but it is funny too. It's a big issue at Lehigh and Lafayette. it is exactly. So let's just start with the history of Private Equity. I know that was kind of chapter two of your book but for our audience, I think it would be a great place to start how it kind of grew out of this era of privatization and deregulation in the 70s and 80s. well, it started in the 70s but it was really very small scale. but it started to pick up in the 1980s especially because there was a sauce of very very in well I should say inexpensive but a huge source of money. junk bond the junk by the junk bond industry. and in the early years, it was they would just sort of take over companies. you know they wouldn't even negotiate. they would just take over companies. and you know they were seen as some pretty ugly Raiders. One of the most important books on the issue was called The Barbarians are coming. and or I'm sorry The Barbarians are at your gate. they're already here. right. and what they would do is they would take some big company and in those days these companies would be huge conglomerates with lots of different pieces to them. like cigarettes and cookies and magazines and just you know everything all together. and they would buy the whole conglomerate and then sell off the pieces. because the pieces were worth far more than the whole. and they would pocket of course all of this. and they were very successful. It turned out to be a very lucrative investment for private equity owners. so that's how it began. they were just basically corporate raiders. and butchers too right in the sense that they were cutting up these pieces of companies and selling them off for parts. And then you know in innumerable cases these companies will go bankrupt right? yeah, so how does that work? I mean I want to get into some more modern examples of it as well. But I think people who are learning about this for the first time might say, well, how is their profit in taking on companies that are in such deep Financial straits and then selling it off?

Hey Sam. This is Alan from Indiana. Allen from Indiana. What's on your mind? Well, I would have something political to say but more of the farming issue. I know Kowalski's a dairy farmer who does that for a living. I'm around the environmental aspect of what the farming Seas are. I worked at an education center. okay, and in my area, we have a different problem than what Kowalski has where it's dry and they're trying to get wet. Here Northern Indiana is basically a swamp. and all the fields around here have been drained. I don't know if you need tiling similar to what they do with the house with the drainage. okay. they'll run a pipe underground. yeah. and they're used to they've changed how they have been doing it as well. They used to do it to where they would put basically a drain pipe sticking out where the low spot is and run it into the ditch which we don't have Rivers here typically either we have ditches because it's all made to drain off as much water as possible. and with what the climate Sciences scientists are saying we're getting more and more water here. so we do have an issue with water. but instead of using water, we're trying they're trying to get rid of it as fast as they can. so we have issues with you know algae blooms in Lake Erie. Oh geez. and and and now with their new drain tiling system what they're doing is they're literally putting in like grid works of pipes with what they like a stock over them. so it's like something to prevent it from getting clogged. right like a filter and a filter over it and then they're putting these every like 30-40 feet. and then wanting them together. and then draining them all out. yeah, so you know in the future when we do have a drought here all of our groundwater will be gone. because there's no way to replenish your groundwater. and because it's not gonna oh it's not staying there it's basically ushered out yeah this is probably the best way to put it. yeah as fast as they can get rid of it. so you know we and why aren't they like I don't remember like pulling it in these big like sort of like man-like ponds. like why are they just putting it why aren't they I don't know contemplating? No, they don't want to have the solar issue coming up here now. as far as commercial solar. They don't want any of these Farmers to want the solar around here. because it's an eyesore. but yeah we have a monoculture field that is an eyesore that nothing lives in beside their corn because it doesn't need pollination it doesn't you know it doesn't need any of that stuff. they're there they're putting solar Farms everywhere Upstate in the area that I yeah I am. and well People say It's an eyesore.
