'It's a mess': Australia's energy situation not going to get 'any better any time soon'

Sky News host Peta Credlin says she doesn’t think the energy situation is going to get “any better any time soon”. Ms Credlin’s remarks come as in the wholesale energy market, power prices in New South Wales, Queensland and Victoria have gone up by around 250 per cent over the last seven years. “Not only are our coal-fired power plants ageing to the point whereby they are going to be shut down in a matter of weeks, if not months, but the rollout of renewables is faltering,” Ms Credlin said. “It’s a mess.” Ms Credlin discussed the issue with The Australian’s Environment Editor Graham Lloyd.
