‘What a joke’: Peta Credlin slams Daniel Andrews’ $300,000 pension

Sky News host Peta Credlin has slammed former premier Daniel Andrews’ $300,000 pension. Outgoing Premier Daniel Andrews announced his shock resignation on Tuesday afternoon after nine years in the top job. Ms Credlin said if a "performance-based pension" existed, one look at Victoria's debt would see Mr Andrews “miss out altogether”. “I'm not against retiring heads of government, even as far as senior ministers getting pensions, but giving Daniel Andrews, who has a record debt that he leaves behind, massive support from taxpayers for life to the tune of some $300,000 a year – what a joke,” she said. Jacinta Allan was named the new Victorian Premier on Wednesday.
