'We need people on the frontline': Public sector pushes to work from home

Sky News contributor Gary Hardgrave says Australia needs people on the frontline. Mr Hardgrave's remark comes as the Community and Public Sector Union is demanding that the Commonwealth public service be given unlimited flexibility to work from home. “The trouble now is all of our bureaucracies are now so filled up with people who are just simply putting papers from one tray to the other, clicking one thing to the other on a computer,” Mr Hardgrave told Sky News host Peta Credlin. “They're not really at the frontline, and that’s the problem, and it’s costing us a lot of money.”
