Addressing Western Cape's housing backlog

Western Cape Premier Alan Winde says the provincial government is not opposed to the development of Tafelberg site for subsidised housing opportunities. Winde, however, says those who illegally occupied buildings in the inner city must vacate first. The City of Cape Town currently has a backlog of over 340,000 people on the waiting list.
