Richard Marles welcomes bilateral defence agreement between US and PNG

Deputy Prime Minister Richard Marles has welcomed the bilateral defence agreement deal between the United States and Papua New Guinea. “I think it’s really good that we are seeing America becoming more and more engaged in the Pacific region and specifically with Papua New Guinea,” Mr Marles told Sky News Australia. “I think a growth in the PNG-America relationship is only good from an Australian point of view.”
