Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin said he’s “concerned” for a detained U.S. soldier who “willfully and without authorization” crossed into North Korea. RELATED: White House responds to Robert F. He was being sent back to the U.S. to be kicked out of the Army after a conviction for assault, according to a U.S. official who was not authorized to speak publicly. King appears to have had prior contact with local law enforcement for being involved in brawls, the official said. Local officials also detained him for damage to government property.
