Iran denies it had anything to do with the drone attack on a U.S. base in Jordan that killed three American troops and wounded many more, but the Biden Administration says Iran is to blame and the U.S. will respond. We will hear from Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin, Pentagon Deputy Press Secretary Sabrina Singh, White House National Security Council spokesperson John Kirby and Sen. Markwayne Mullin (R-OK). Secretary of State Antony Blinken and Stéphane Dujarric, spokesperson for the United Nations Secretary General talk about U.S. suspending aid to the UN Palestinian relief agency UNRWA after reports some of its members were involved in Hamas' October 7 deadly attack on Israel. Qatar Prime Minister in Washington, DC gives an update on the meeting over the weekend in Paris with the CIA and Israel and Egypt's intelligence services about brokering a deal with between Hamas and Israel to release more hostages held by Hamas. Congress is back to work this week, and a bipartisan U.S. border security deal may or may not be ready to pass the Senate, while a House committee plans to take up impeachment articles against Homeland Security Sec Alejandro Mayorkas over his handling of the border.
