House Ethics Committee says it found "substantial evidence" Rep. George Santos (R-NY) broke the law by stealing money from his campaign, deceiving donors about how contributions would be used, engaging in fraudulent business dealings and filing false campaign finance reports.. The Ethics Committee says Rep. Santos "warrants public condemnation", and the Committee Chair says he will introduce a resolution to expel Rep. Santos. Rep. Santos calls the Ethics Committee report a “disgusting politicized smear” and says he is being “stoned by those who have flaws themselves.” We will talk about the report with CQ Roll Call Congressional Accountability reporter Chris Marquette.
