Israeli forces could enter Gaza City as early as today

A more intense phase of the Israeli war with Hamas could begin within days according to Israeli media reports. Israeli troops are expected to enter Gaza City today or tomorrow which could mean likely street to street fighting with Hamas militants.This comes as Israeli forces have now surrounded Gaza city cutting off the northern part of the territory. This morning, communications are also being restored in Gaza after temporarily being cut for the third time since the conflict began a month ago, leaving the millions of people there without access to internet or cell phone service.Gaza's Health Ministry says nearly 10,000 Palestinians have now been killed in the ongoing fighting.
