Multi-employer bargaining agreement begins today

The first multi-employer bargaining agreement under Labor's new IR laws led by the childhood education sector, comes into effect today. Employment Minister Tony Burke suggests the government may need to participate in future bargaining while observing a rush by employers to establish their agreements in response.
